Only the color wheels would possibly be helpful, but alas, not an option. The buttons on this device are so custom to Resolve it wouldn't even make sense to try to use this with Premiere or Final Cut Pro. Being small enough, makes it easy to take with you, so you can bring it to any Resolve system (14.3 or later) and do colour correction on location or in studio. you can only use this with Resolve and they have no public plans of supporting any other editing software. If you want to be a full-time or professional colorist though and have more control over your color grading in Resolve, the Mini is for you. What does Davinci control panel do The DaVinci Resolve Micro Panel and Mini Panel include 12 primary color correction control knobs that make it easy to quickly adjust image contrast, saturation, hue, temperature, tint, midtone detail, color boost, shadows, highlights and more. Also, the Micro doesn't need AC power and just runs off of a USB cable. The Micro is for quickly correcting footage, throwing a LUT on it, and not really using secondary nodes. The representative from Blackmagicdesign I spoke with said the Mini was designed to be the "keep in the office" version, while the Micro was created to be taken on location during your shoot. The bottom half of the $3,000 Mini is actually the same layout and buttons of the $1,000 Micro version.
